Hang time
There won’t be any hang time this week because church won’t be open..or rather it will be open but only to moms. So head straight to cg at 4pm

A bit of a twist this week, CG comes before YF because of the Mother’s Day celebration in church. So from 4-5.30 we’ll meet at our respective CGs (ask you CG leaders where) and then meet back at church at 5.30pm for YF

Francis will be sharing this week about ‘A Better Covenant’. So if you got confused by all the New law and Old law business last week, this will help to open your eyes. hehe.. YF is at  church from 5.30-7pm

Quite a bummer about last week’s rain huh Oh well. Since it hardly seems to be raining in the evening now, seize the opportunity to play captainball at the Seri Beringin court from 6-8pm this Friday

Hang Time
Yup..Chilling hour is from 3-4pm at church. There’s drinks and snacks and (usually the worship team) good company so come and..chill

This week, the extremely funny Roshan Thiran will be speaking  on Jesus, The Anchor of Our Soul. In this terribly trying time (of exams and whatnot) what do we need more than a place to seek comfort and refuge Be at church at 4pm!

We’ll be focusing on Hebrews 6:9-20 in our cgs so read up!

Ok, this week don’t head over to church as I’m sure you already know but gather at Padang Astaka in PJ for this year’s inter-CG captainball tournament It hopes to start on time at 3pm so be there early! And should be done by 7pm. Bring your friends..recruit your neighbours etc etc or just turn up yourself and don’t forget to wear your team color Black for Vinyl, Green for Agape, Yellow for ‘Oz, Red for Eklektos, White for Cephas and Blue for Adriel.

Don’t miss captainball this Friday at the Bangsar Sports Complex from 6-8pm. There’s sports stations this Saturday and even though who knows what the sports committee has come up with (like maybe volleyball using a tennis ball or something) it’s a good chance to get some last minute practice in hehe.

Elections are on! But we’ll be having our own brand of competition this Saturday. Sports Stations is from 3-7pm. Meet at Bangkung Park where further instructions will be given. On the 23rd of February, amidst the clacking of Rummikub tiles,
shuffling of Taboo cards and Su Ann’s high-pitched shrieks, the youth
fellowship of Bangsar Gospel Centre kicked off the first leg of the
Inter-Care Group Competition with the Annual Board Games Gala. Youth
members and guests alike battled it out enthusiastically in games such
as Monopoly, Risk, Taboo, Carrom and many more. As most of the players
were already seasoned professionals (yes, those post-dinner board games
sessions really came in handy), the competition was certainly tough!
Nevertheless, all players kept up their good spirits and sportsmanship,
and the gala proceeded smoothly throughout the evening. In between their
’strenuous’ matches, players took advantage of the snacks counter to
replenish their strength (sitting down for hours is, after all, a tiring
business!). At the end of the day, care group Cephas emerged victorious,
steaming ahead with 12 points. Vinyl was hot on their tail, losing out
by a mere 2 points, while Adriel bagged third place with 8 points. Oz,
Eklektos and Agape took 4th, 5th and 6th place respectively.

Want a rematch after losing grab last week? Or just wanna hang out in church for a bit before YF starts?  Church will be open from 3-4pm for anyone who wants to come and mingle before YF If you’re bringing friends this would be a great time for them to get to know more people.

If you never know what to say when your friends ask how Jesus can be both the son of God and man at the same time then this week will be exceptionally interesting. From 4-5.30pm Uncle Dennis Lee will be talking to us this week about Jesus’ double roles. It’s the first in this series of studies on Jesus.

Read up on Hebrews chapter 1 because from 5.30-7pm we’ll be discussing this in our respective CGs Don’t forget to plan for sports stations which is next week!

This Saturday it won’t be YF as usual. Instead it’ll the annual Board Games Gala! *woohooo* Bring your friends to play in the very first inter CG competition of the year! There’s be Rummikub, Cluedo, Risk, Monopoly, Taboo, Carrom, and for the first time ever Grab!! (aka Rampas) So gather your friends and practice Taboo or brush up on your Carrom skills for this Saturday It’s from 4-7pm at church so see you there
